Public institution Panevezys Labour Market Training Centre was founded in 1952. Its founder is Education and Science Ministery.

Vision of Panevezys Labour Market Training Centre is to promote economic and social growth in the region by providing high quality vocational training services.

 

The main goal of the Centre is to provide adult vocational training in formal and informal levels as well as contribution to employment of the learners.

 

The main activities of the centre are:

  • Professional training;
  • Qualification refreshing courses;
  • Re-skilling.

 

The institution consists of four departments:

  • 1st learning department: catering, food production, trade, services, organization and administration training programs;
  • 2nd learning department: beauty services, textile and handicraft, safety training programs;
  • drivers‘ teaching department;
  • vocational rehabilitation department.

Panevėžys Labour Market Training Centre trains:

  • Unemployed people sent by territorial Labour Exchange;
  • Employees sent by employers;
  • Persons who come to learn on their own initiative.

 

Panevezys Labour Market Training Centre collaborates with Labour Exchange, bussiness organizations. The Centre constantly is researching market demands and needs of the learners. These facts allow to prepare and offer flexible vocational training programs adjusted to the learners’ demands and needs.

 

The institution has a big experience in preparing qualified specialists. Continuous trainings take place all over a year.

 

Panevezys Labour Market Training Centre makes boast of its high qualified and experienced staff. Our trainers regulary participate in projects and improve their knowledge and skills.

 

The Centre has good base of theoretical and practical trainings for all professions. Modern technologies are used during the lectures.

 

Panevezys Labour Market Training Centre takes part in the implementation of different projects funded by EU or other programs. Since 2009 Panevezys Labour Market Training Centre has participated in 24 projects as applicant and partner organization. During this period institution implemented 14 projects as beneficiary. In addition, in 2013 institution received the award for generating highest continual value and quality project management in national level from The Education Exchanges Support Foundation (national agency entrusted with the administration of Erasmus+ and Lifelong Learning programmes and other initiatives funded by the European Commission (EC) and the Government of the Republic of Lithuania in the field of education and vocational training, which has been successfully operating since 2007).

Organization has Quality Management Certificate ISO 9001:2008 (LST EN ISO9001:2008).
